Fulfilling your baby's endless potential is an exciting opportunity that starts with Kindermusik Village. In class, learn how to stimulate your child's learning through singing, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and creative movement. We'll provide you with more tools to continue the enrichment at home through bonding with your baby by reading the Baby's Literature Book or listening to the CD - just two of the resources included in the At Home Materials.

Our Time - 18 months - 3 years
30 - 45 minutes once a week for 15 weeks

This class introduces your child to a musical world filled with singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, sound identification, instrument exploration, and creative movement. With your help, your toddler can continue learning at home by trying out creative learning games listed in her Activity Book, listening to her CD, or playing with the other items included in the At Home Materials - all designed to help your child improve confidence, self-control, and communication skills.

Imagine That - 3 - 5 years
45 minutes once a week for 15 weeks

This class pairs music with expressive language, storytelling, peer interaction, movement, and pretend play. With all this interaction, your child will further expand his cognitive and literacy skills as well as his creativity and individuality. The learning continues through the At Home Materials , which include activities such as illustrated literature books, a pretend play set, CD, and instrument.

Young Child - 5 - 7 years
60 - 65 minute class once a week for 15 weeks

Kindermusik for the Young Child is a pressure-free approach that includes exposure to various types of multicultural music. Here, your child can explore vocal development, creative movement and dance, rhythm, note reading, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, stringed, and wind instruments. With the At Home Materials, your child will not only find out what a glockenspiel is, she'll learn to play it.

What Regina Parents are Saying About Kindermusik

Comments From Parents in Regina:

Kindermusik has had a huge positive impact on our daughter's quality of life! Our daughter Callie began Kindermusik when she was 3 months old. Callie had to overcome a number of medical concerns in the first year of her life and as a result was very anxious amongst strangers and new places. Our Kindermusik educator immediately placed Callie at ease and Kindermusik quickly became a safe, comforting place for both my daughter and I. Amidst other appointments, Kindermusik immediately became the highlight of our week. Our Kindermusik educator was eager to coordinate Callie's physiotherapy with the Kindermusik curriculum and having the CD's and books to use at home really became a fun part of our daily routine. Just hearing Kindermusik songs would place a smile on Callie's face and seeing her dance and sing along was amazing. Callie and I look forward to enjoying more Kindermusik in the future!
Rhea - mom of Callie

My children have been in Kindermusik since they were infants. The family time in Village and Our Time was precious. Our Kindermusik educator not only inspired music and dance, but also offered different ways of interacting to encourage creativity as well as many other learning processes. She offered classes to my children 'en français' which was important for my francophone family. My son is now in an English Imagine That class, and he loves it! He sings along to the CDs in the car and we all enjoy the home activities. This is particularly impressive since my son is extremely shy and our Kindermusik educator has been able to encourage and assist him to participate in the classes. The classes have really enhanced his language, imagination and independence. Our Kindermusik educator's teaching skills are outstanding, but more importantly she has a strong grasp of child development which is evident in her interactions with the children. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone seeking to enrich their child's experiences.
Nathalie - mom of Cadell (4) and Milene (2)

Kindermusik provides weekly opportunities for children/parents to explore their natural music within them and to grow or mature in such a positive nurturing environment. The class sizes are small, interactive and free of jugdement to dance, sing and enjoy our gifts of music we bring to the circle. Kindermusik gives the children and parents this window of musical self discovery weekly and we can then open the door and play with the music/activities in our home during the week. After ten plus years my three children have gained everything from, as babies, vocabulary and cognitive enrichment through singing their first songs to, as 6-7 year olds, self confidence and gratification in playing the glockenspiel or dulcimer. From babies to young children, all the years of music enhancement and learning music theory through movement, expression and practical hands on activities has instilled a very strong, solid foundation for each one of my children to pursue their own individual areas of interest in the arts.
Denise - Mother of three children that have all completed the Kindermusik program

I started Kindermusik when my son was 6 weeks old. At first I thought it would be a great way for me to interact with him and other parents and children while laying a foundation for an appreciation of music and dance. Nolan is now 10 months old and loves going every week. I am amazed how he has become so interested in music in such a short time. Our Kindermusik educator is an outstanding teacher. She genuinely shares her passion for music, learning, and children in a loving, structured, yet care free way. Nolan loves hearing her voice and looks forward to what fun she will bring each week. We both get excited for Thursdays each week. I will be continuing with kindermusik for both our children and highly recommend Kindermusik to all mothers of Regina.
Renee - mother of a 10 month old child (and expecting her second) who has attended the Village class since her son was 6 weeks old.
